‘Rush Babes for America’ Trounces NOW in Facebook Matchup

Not incredibly surprising, Rush Limbaugh made it back into the news in a big way this week, still revolving his tussle with the National Organization of Women (NOW) or as he calls them the National Association of Gals (NAG).

This week, Rush unveiled his “Rush Babes for America” Facebook page. that already has 45,000 likes. Compare that to just 29,000 likes for the NOW Facebook page that has been up much longer.

By the way, please check out and like The Right Frequency page on Facebook. Admittedly, the likes fall well short of the aforementioned pages.

Another big news item is that Cumulus Media first quarter revenue is down 3.5 percent after the advertising boycotts against Limbaugh over the Sandra Fluke flap, according to Talkers magazine.

The magazine reported that “earnings of $245.3 million – down from $254.2 million for the same period a year ago.  Free cash flow was up almost 95% to $37 million, up from $19 million for the first quarter of 2011 and EBITDA was up 12.2% to $76.8 million.”

Read more about Rush and his past controversies in Chapter 7 of The Right Frequency. The book is available now for pre-order, signed by the author, at a 30% disount.
