Neal Boortz Talks Libertarinism at Heritage Foundation
Neal Boortz recently told the Heritage Foundation about how his view of Washington changed.
“I came to know Washington as a symbol of freedom, of liberty, of all that made this country great,” Boortz said. “And now when I come to this city, I see these people walking on the sidewalk and I just think, yeah, what cubicle are you going to sit in today. What stupid, absurd, asinine regulations to control the people are you going to come up with today to impress your boss.”
Boortz is a libertarian. He is even registered with the Libertarian Party, and would consider running for president as the party’s nominee. Boortz’s talk radio career spans five decades. He even found success during the Fairness Doctrine, generally a dark time for conservative talk radio. Boortz is profiled in The Right Frequency, to be released in August, available now for pre-order.
