NOW Targets Rush Again
The National Organization of Women (NOW) is once again going after Rush Limbaugh, with a national campaign called, “Enough Rush.”
The organization that Rush affectionately refers to as the National Association of Gals, or “the NAGS,” is reportedly planning gatherings on May 18 in cities across the country, including Washington, New York, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Toledo, and Grand Rapids to protest local radio stations carrying the most listened to talk radio host in America.
This is clearly to reignite the buzz from the Sandra Fluke incident that died down considerably in the last month. It certainly isn’t the first time Limbaugh and NOW butted heads. In 1994, the feminist organization organized a boycott against Florida Orange Juice because Rush was hired as the spokesman to do TV commercials in 1994. Details about this and some of the other enemies Rush has made are in The Right Frequency, available now for pre-order.
